Our next stop was Copenhagen, Denmark. We finally arrived there after crossing the bridge from Sweden to Denmark. There were a lot of windmills, it reminded me of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. Funny how little things remind you of home. Anyways, we got to Copenhagen around 8 PM, and we were supposed to leave for Iceland the next day.
When we arrived at our hostel I was immediately satisfied. It was clean, chic, modern, and just cool. It had free Internet and sold alcohol, food, and other beverages. It had modern, colorful furniture, and our room had bunk beds…3 on top of each other!
I really liked Copenhagen; it was SO beautiful. It reminded me a lot of Amsterdam, as it had similar architecture, canals, and bike lanes. We took a canal tour around the city, which was cold but interesting. For dinner we decided to go to a Thai Restaurant. It was great to enjoy great food and just relax, as well as hear Fez speak Thai.
I really wish that we had had more time in Copenhagen. Hopefully in the future I will make it there again.
